Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Staff and Services: Pondera Medical Center's Durable Medical Equipment (DME) staff is professionally trained, certified and/or licensed. A 24-hour Emergency On-Call service is provided for your comfort and peace of mind. Direct billing of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies is available. Pondera Medical Center's DME department is community based and employs local citizens to serve your local needs. PMC's DME department is dedicated to improving your quality of life.

Oxygen and Respiratory Services: Following a physician's order, DME's oxygen/respiratory staff provides the client with a complete orientation of in-home respiratory services, equipment set-up and proper operating procedures.

DME Oxygen/ Respiratory Staff:

• Assess oxygen client's condition on a monthly basis, and provide client's physician with a written report.
• Provide monthly maintenance, testing and cleaning of all oxygen equipment.
• Delivery and set-up of portable oxygen tanks as needed.

Respiratory Products Include:

• Oxygen Concentrators
  
• Portable Oxygen Cylinders
  
• Nebulizers
  
• Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) systems and supplies
  
• Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) systems and supplies
  

Rehab Equipment and Services: Pondera Medical Center's DME department offers a wide selection of rehab equipment and accessories to meet the client's needs. The DME staff works directly with the client's physician and/or therapists to insure that the most suitable equipment is ordered.
